[Infographic] Facebook EdgeRank: all you need to know

If you manage a Facebook page, or have a keen eye for detail, you have probably already noticed that just like as a user, not all your status updates reach all your friends, not all the Facebook posts from your page reach all your fans. In fact, on average a regular post will only reach about 16 per cent of your fans!

To determine what’s worth showing in your news feed and what’s not, Facebook uses an algorithm called: EdgeRank. It is basically influenced by three main factors such as Affinity, Weight and Time Decay.
